RIP Bernie Mac 1957-2008

So I just recieved the news of the death of a truly funny man. Bernie Mac died this morning of complications of pneumonia. He was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia on Aug. 1, 2008. My parents used to watch the Bernie Mac show all the time. And I am a big fan of the Ocean's trilogy. George Clooney put out a statement saying "The world just got a little less funny. He will be missed dearly." I agree in fact I think his death as well as Heath Ledger's have showed me how short life can truly be. I actually battled pneumonia earlier in the year. It is shocking to think something that kept me out of school for a good week just killed a celebrity. It is a very sad day indeed... we will all miss him dearly.
