I just got finished watching E! News. Because all today I was at school working on the first issue of the paper and stressing out on how much I have to get done. Then I came home and took a very long nap. I was that stressed out. So I didn't check People.com as I usually do.
Anyways now to what was on E! News. Morgan Freeman was driving in his 1997 Nissan Maxima eastbound on Mississippi Highway 32 at 11:30 pm on Sunday night. The car went off the road and flipped several times before coming to a stop.
Emergency crews had to use the jaws of life to remove Freeman and passenger Demaris Meyer from the car. They were then airlifted from the scene and taken to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.
Freeman's condition is listed as serious. He apparently has a broken arm, broken elbow, and minor shoulder damage. He will have surgery to correct the damage.
I hope his surgery goes well and that he has a speedy recovery. He is such a legend in the acting business. I also have a really good question! What is he doing driving a 1997 Nissan Maxima? Can't he afford something a bit more new than a 11 year old car?
