Hi my name is... and I am a Repo! The Genetic Opera Addict

So I have to say that those dang Repo! The Genetic Opera songs are way too catchy. I have officially become apart of that cult that is like obsessed. I will admit Paris aside... which by the way I am not saying she is like awful. She actually is fairly decent on the tracks and even gets a little screamo music in there. It's funny cause you picture her as this girly girl but she gets down and dirty in this movie.

Anthony Head... who knew he had such a powerful voice. I remember sneaking around and watching him on Buffy. Who knew? It's really weird to see our own Giles is much more than we thought he was. Listen to him on the trailer... seriously.... why isn't he like in a rock band?

Alexa Vega... well I don't know I don't think she is really showing her full talent honestly. I found a clip from the movie... that has Joan Jett in it. She still doesn't sound as awesome as she does in the Hairspray clip. But once again Anthony Head shows he can rock it... he slaps her across the face which seems way to real and powerful. You can tell he has seriously like fallen into that character.

Terrance Zdunich is actually one of the men behind the film. Not only did he help create it along with Darren Smith but he actually plays a role in the film. Can I just say where have I seen him? When he is dressed up as his character, Grave-Robber, he looks so familiar. Not to mention but he is strangely very hot as a Grave-Robber. Who know why?

The movie is kinda a cross between Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Island, and Saw. At least the whole organ thing is very similar to The Island except no epidemic and they are clones rather than actual people. Rocky Horror Picture Show was original and a cult classic. Repo! The Genetic Opera is proving that it is very original and the fanbase is growing very big. As the critics are already saying this is indeed a instant cult classic. And it has the gore and disgust of the Saw movies. It is after all a rock opera and the music is AMAZING. As strange as the movie is I am a Repo! The Genetic Opera addict.

Plot: An epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Panic erupts and scientists feverishly make plans for a massive organ harvest. Out of the tragedy, GeneCo, a multi-billion dollar biotech company, emerges. GeneCo provides organ transplantation for a profit. In addition to financing options, GeneCo reserves the right to implement default remedies, including repossession. For those who can't keep up with their organ payments, collection is the responsibility of "organ repo men", skilled assassins contracted by GeneCo, ordered to recover GeneCo's property by any means necessary. At the heart of the story is Shilo Wallace (Alexa Vega), a 17 year-old girl with a rare blood disease. She has been kept locked up and protected in her house, where she is guarded from the outside world by her father, Nathan Wallace (Anthony Head). While Shilo struggles with her wish to leave the house and experience the outside world, Nathan struggles with his secret job as the Repo Man, and more specifically, his next target, a woman named Blind Mag (Sarah Brightman). Blind Mag, an opera singer, was a friend of Nathan's now-deceased wife, and is Shilo's godmother. The Largo family, consisting of GeneCo president Rotti (Paul Sorvino), his daughter Amber (Paris Hilton), and his two sons Luigi and Pavi (Bill Moseley and Nivek Ogre, respectively), have their own plans. Rotti is dying, and the three siblings bicker and fight about who is to take the role as head of GeneCo. But, disappointed with his own children, Rotti takes an interest in Shilo. The stories intertwine and merge at the GeneCo opera.

UPDATE!
OMG! I just died when I saw this... I had no idea Anthony Stewart Head was in the London revival of Rocky Horror Picture Show. He looks so hysterical... but at least he is dressed for the part. HAHA!
